Training and Technical Assistance

New York State mandates an average of fifteen training hours per year be obtained by any staff working twenty hours a week or more in a registered program. If these requirements are not met, than a program is vulnerable to being cited and / or closed. Moreover, NYS School-Age Care Credentialed professionals have an additional training requirement of five hours per year (twenty total) in order to maintain their credential.
